I’m Shagufta, a software engineer currently working at Amazon, where I contribute to high-performance backend services and distributed systems that enable advertising platforms to operate at global scale. 

Before Amazon, I completed my Master’s in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I specialized in Machine Learning and focused on applying data-driven techniques to solve practical engineering challenges.

Prior to that, I worked at Dell Technologies, where I worked on a computer vision system for real-time quality inspection in manufacturing workflows, and at GlobalLogic Inc, where I built and optimized real-time collaboration features for a large-scale e-learning platform. 

I enjoy exploring how technology can improve accessibility, experimenting with creative AI applications, and building tools that make complex systems easier to use and understand.
