I am a Software Engineer working at Peloton Interactive. Previously, I was assigned to and worked with Goldman Sachs via Infosys to build out software solutions as part of a team of engineers. I worked with large, complex software on a daily basis. Prior to that I have been trained and gained certifications in Java and Spring, as well as developed skills in modern front-end frameworks such as Angular and React.

	I started my software engineering journey at NYU receiving my Bachelors in Computer Science. This is where I learned the fundamentals of software engineering, including key computer science theory, such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming, databases, as well as other core concepts that helped me start my journey. I also gained valuable experience building projects in groups through classes, hackathons, and an internship in web development.

	Currently, I’ve had a significant interest in developing my skills on both ends of the stack, front-end and back-end software development. I’ve been working with Spring framework to build RESTful API’s that are able to serve data to applications paired with front-end frameworks. Using this, I am able to learn to build my own API’s to work with dynamic front-end applications to serve users. I also spend time working on front-end frameworks such as React and Angular, building dynamic and responsive web applications that respond and update according to state changes using Redux. I personally enjoy continuously learning on my own, finding that each new software concept I learn helps build a better understanding of what I’m creating as a whole.
