Led UX and UI design as the dedicated designer on a cross-functional team for Psychology Magazine, a scientific publication supported by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. Conducted UX research, defined information architecture, and performed usability testing to deliver:

1-A public website for accessing articles and magazine issues

2- A comprehensive application for researchers and reviewers that facilitates manuscript submission, tracking, and management of evaluations and publication approvals.

Developed a comprehensive UI design system to ensure visual consistency and scalability across platforms. Incorporated accessibility checks based on WCAG guidelines to create inclusive digital experiences. Collaborated closely with stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions aligned with the magazine’s mission to promote psychological research.

Worked on two projects:

1- Reaxys.com: Optimize search result page, and implement accessibility standards.

2- CENTree: Revamping the ontology management application. Led the redesign of the submission and review changes process.

Responsibilities:

1- User Problem Analysis: Identified and analyzed user issues to pinpoint areas for design improvements.

2- Solution Design: Created design solutions to enhance user interaction and satisfaction.

3- Accessibility Compliance: Applied accessibility guidelines to ensure designs align with WCAG standards.

4. Testing: Conduct usability testing to validate designs, either in collaboration with a UX researcher or independently.

5- Design Iteration: Refined and updated UX designs based on user feedback for optimal performance.
