Designed and implemented overhauling of monolithic Quartz based ingestion to scaleable AWS ECS based ingestion pipeline to facilitate and support the growth from 100 to 1000 customers pushing combined 4K daily to over 100K expense reports. AWS Fargate ECS, ECR, S3, SQS, Docker, RDS Postgres.

Developed and refined through stages, data pipeline using Sqoop, Hudi, AWS EMR, HDFS, Hive, Apache Spark to perform full and daily incremental loads from Postgres Materialized Views to Kyligence MOLAP Cubes.

### Digital Innovations @ GE Digital

Technical Lead, Thought Leader, Architect and Implementor for multiple high impact innovation projects that led to improvements in employee performance development, sourcing, price quote, monitoring, reporting and analytics functions across GE.

- A native iOS app for employee professional development, used by 160K employees worldwide; received rave reviews (“game changer”) from Harvard Business Review. 

- A hybrid mobile app built using Angular, Bootstrap, and Cordova that allows certain transactions to be flagged with suggestions on alternate sourcing opportunities. Led to multimillion in cost savings in first 3 months of deployment.

- GE Digital initiative to promote information centric transparency and accountability across all departments including HR, Compliance, Sales, Legal, Engineering, etc. A web based dashboard application written in Angular and Bootstrap that sources data from GE Digital Data Lake. 

- Implemented features in Mobile iOS SDK to access Predix APNS and Asset Management services. 

- Developed REST services to support dashboard application. Implemented features in query mapper component, mapping REST API spec to Postgres SQL. 

- Improved REST API performance by 40% to 55% by replacing chatty JSON format with streamed comma-separated record oriented response, with further refinement to columnar data format.

- Design and develop the mapping from SQL to ElasticSearch API for BI, to evaluate the feasibility of Elastic Search in lieu of RDBMS for adhoc query.

- Evaluated, architected and built the metadata repository using Alation artifacts, and implemented Java based APIs to query metadata for charts.

- Case study to evaluate potential for virtual wind-shear sensor in lieu of expensive physical sensor hosted on GE windmill. Applied different ML algorithms with variety of parameters to study the feasibility.

- Machine Learning Enthusiast – Completed multiple certified courses in Deep Learning and Machine Learning at Coursera.

- Member of Mobile Innovation Labs. Involved in minimalistic design and implementation of Location Aware Peer to Peer (P2P) Payments application for iOS on IPhone.
