Final MEng. Project: Analyzing Paintings using Deep Learning

1. Using Image Processing and Natural Language Processing, a model was designed to generate descriptive sentences of paintings based on the context, form and the composition when viewing the painting; a step towards interpreting art.

2. Currently building an end-to-end application to host the designed deep learning system using Flask-RESTful API and a front-end React web app.

3. The Project explores the possibilities of computers having the ability to understand and appreciate art which is essential to creating better forms of art that is possibly full of meaning, emotion and is more relatable to humans.
