* Lead for Set Top Box features for different International MSO customer platforms at TiVo Inc.

* Exposure to various features which include enabling the TiVo software for new platforms – DVR and Mini, Localization, UI translations, UI refresh, MSO rebranding, Front Panel, Parental Controls, VOD.

* Design and development of new user STB installation module

* Design and development of a middleware module that fetches provisioning data from server on to the STB and store it in sqlite db.

* Porting of Switched Digital Video (SDV) feature on to TiVo Mini platform.

* Debug issues related to STB middleware; QAM and IPTV configurations; network modules - DOCSIS, Yada-Wifi, ethernet; UI features; VOD; SDV; VPN.

* Design, Integration and System testing of DSMCC module

* Design and implementation of Object Carousel engine of DSMCC module.

* Maintenance of DSMCC module, development of zlib decoder library as part of MHEG-5 project.

* Porting of Hardware Abstraction Layer for STB middleware components (DSMCC, Video, I-Frame display, Audio) from TI TVP9k platform on to ST7109 Platform.

* Porting audio and video functionalities, I-Frame display of CI Plus browser onto ADK and debugging as part of DVB-S solution to Philips TV550 IDTV platform.

* DSP MSC8122 module involving interactions with SDRAM, TDM interface, Ethernet RMII interface.

* Tasks involved reading through MSC8122 manual, configuring hardware registers, board bringup, testing the interfaces using Network Analyzer (ANT20), Emulators (Code Warrior USB TAP Debugger for MSC8122 DSP, Trace 32 for host processor MPC8360 PowerQUICC), Spectrum Analyzer.
