Since the moment my 13-year-old self watched their QBasic program paint the Mandelbrot set line-by-line in fractal color onto a blank screen for the first time, I’ve been entranced by the potential software has to enable new ways of interacting with and perceiving the world. I’m passionate about creating software that empowers its users by marrying technical sophistication on the inside and usable design on the outside -- whether that means building web apps that brand new users can understand at a glance or developer tools that can point out problems in a codebase with laser precision.
