Advisory role focused on customer experience and UI design for Michigan-based healthtech startup

Led end-to-end discovery for a 3-year product roadmap to evolve the claims dashboard toward automation, using 50+ hours of user interviews, process shadowing, and workflow analysis to align stakeholders and set a clear product direction.

Helped facilitate 2 cross-functional design sprints and prototyping sessions that translated our vision into actionable first steps, accelerating roadmap validation and securing team buy-in.

Partnered with engineers to identify and ship quick design fixes that reduced dashboard load times and crashes by 80%, improving adjuster efficiency and system reliability

As the sole designer in the company, I closely collaborated with three remote engineering teams, along with the leadership, to revamp our existing product. Our primary goal was to increase our Annual Contract Value (ACV) to try to secure a Series B funding round. In support of the goal, I combined customer feedback, the limited data we had, and internal insights to create wireframes, AI diagrams, prototypes, and detailed designs. Simultaneously, I designed the future vision of what a best-in-class product could look like, to serve as a North Star to inspire our teams. I then worked with PMs and engineers to break down these designs for implementation. Additionally, I created a design system and visual design direction for marketing materials

• Founding designer; scaled the company from seed to Series E ($1B+ raised).

• Built enrollment funnel from 0 to 1, which became the primary growth engine for 400k+ small businesses; expanded from 3 industries to 1,000+ across 5 lines of business; optimized with A/B tests and user testing.

• Designed and shipped the marketing site, designed the post-purchase customer portals (web and mobile) from 0-1, partner experiences, and claim adjuster dashboard.

• Implemented two rebrands across product surfaces; evolved the design system to meet expanding UI needs; helped scale the design team to six.
