Principal User Experience Designer (October 2020 - September 2022)

Design lead for Accountant growth, ProAdvisor Program, and QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) user management and add client product teams. Collaborated with stakeholders, ran Design for Delight sessions, and created exploratory designs to drive product vision. Conducted customer interviews and collaborated with the analytics team to gather qualitative and quantitative data to facilitate informed design decisions with confidence.

Worked on QBOA training management for accounting firms with Marketing and the Training Program Managers. Redesigned the QBOA user management experience. Designed and launched MVP for accountants’ in-product-replies to leads. Created designs to improve ProAdvisor benefits engagement, rolling out in A/B test with a 50% increase in click-through rate.

Led design for new Database and Streaming Ingestion Services integration into the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Platform, a global collaborative effort across 5 locations (UK, India, Russia, Redwood, CA, and Austin, TX). Designed MVP of the two new offerings from end-to-end with challenging logistics.

Supported efforts to move existing customers from licensed-based on-premise solutions to cloud-based subscription solutions. Redesigned Mapplet and Mapping experiences to consume different Cloud services. Redesigned and improved on-premise multiple Data Transformation features for Cloud, including one of the most complicated ones, Java Tx.

Led design for the new Capital One and MasterCard’s digital payment partnership – Capital One Masterpass, which launched in October 2016. By March 2017, 150K customers have signed up for the product. Built registration, checkout, and account management experiences. Engaged the Engineering team early in the process to make sure the user experience accommodated and aligned with the complexity of the API. Conducted usability research and partnered with Product and Engineering teams to iterate and implement designs. Met with the MasterCard team throughout the process to keep them in the loop, share design iterations, and the final design.

Designed and managed UX/UI integration of the security enhancements across the desktop, web, and mobile analytics platforms. Participated in Agile meetings and defined user stories and tasks with product owners. Redesigned existing workflow to incorporate new features and created high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and specs.
