CSG IOS/XE Kernel Team member.

• Actively involved in the bring-up of new x86, ARM based hardware in enterprise switching, routing and IoT portfolios on Cisco's proprietary IOS-XE based operating system.

• Integral part of the team that designed and built the infrastructure of in-house OpenEmbedded-based Linux distribution for Kernel and SDK build.

• Constantly involved in solving critical customer issues in the base OS: Networking, File Systems, Scheduling, Resiliency, Memory leaks/corruptions and many more.

• Working towards cleaner code between platform-specific and agnostic pieces and also re-writing existing code to make it more generic and contributing back to Open source.

• Actively engaged with the Open source community to look for new features that can be integrated/backported to improve the efficiency and reliability of the OS.

• Responsible for team’s lab setup and management of all in field and under development platforms used for bring up and testing purposes along with automation scripts development to enable their efficient use by the team across multiple time zones.

• Involved in Kernel development for various Cisco platforms under works and in field.

• Integrated the Vendor code for kernel and FOSS on a regular basis and maintained build infrastructure for SDK builds.

• Maintained existing platforms deployed in field and under development via customer found issues and internally found issues reported as bugs on team.

• Enhanced existing API’s in Cisco's proprietary operating system for application development and improvement.
