I recently graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with an MS in Computer Science, and I am now working at Mindex as a Software Engineer.

Throughout my academic journey, spanning both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, I garnered in-depth knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and C. Additionally, I delved into essential concepts including Algorithms, Data Structures, Databases, and Web Development. My coursework not only broadened my technical expertise, but also played a pivotal role in shaping my character and personality.

During my tenure as a Software Engineer Intern at Mindex, I had the privilege of working in teams of varying sizes and learning the art of effective collaboration and communication. My proficiency in a range of technologies, including React, Python, C#, PostgreSQL, and AWS stems from these experiences, as well as my academic training in Computer Science. I developed a dashboard web application, hosted on AWS, for medical machine data, significantly reducing analysis time by over 50+ hours quarterly. The success of this project led to my involvement in a larger-scale collaboration with 11 developers on a web application. In this role, I implemented numerous new features, reported, and resolved critical bugs, conducted code reviews, and updated project documentation, significantly expediting the project's progress. Recognizing my effectiveness, I was entrusted with more complex tasks, such as addressing bugs related to the backend infrastructure.

As part of a team of six developers, I played a pivotal role in developing and maintaining a full-stack application using .NET Core and C#, hosted on AWS, serving over 20,000 marketing agents. I rapidly mastered both the legacy and new systems, contributing significantly to the enhancement and troubleshooting of the application. My quick adaptation and problem-solving skills led to my involvement in optimizing the deployment process, successfully reducing the deployment time by 50%.
Throughout this role, I deepened my understanding of object-oriented programming principles, leveraging C# and MVC architecture to enhance software design and functionality. I gained proficiency in dependency injection, appreciating its benefits for creating unit-testable and loosely coupled components. My experience also strengthened my abilities in team collaboration and effective communication, participating actively in code reviews to ensure high-quality outputs and occasionally interfacing directly with clients to clarify project requirements.
