As a Lead Developer and Product Engineer, I contribute to building innovative, real-time systems such as social feeds and live-auction marketplaces, leveraging WebSockets, automated scoring pipelines, and roster management systems. ### Lead Developer and Product Engineer @ TopClub Fantasy
Jan 2025 – Present | Jersey City, New Jersey, United States
– Engineered a real-time social feed and live-auction marketplace using Socket.io WebSockets for     instant post updates, poll voting, bidding, and notifications.
– Designed and implemented a 1v1 Club Wars multiplayer system supporting direct friend matches, queue-based matchmaking, and AI bot battles, with server-authoritative real-time gameplay over WebSockets.
– Designed an event-driven scoring pipeline that ingests football match events (RapidAPI Football) and updates fantasy points, leaderboards, and user rewards via scheduled worker scripts.
– Introduced a Redis-backed job/worker system to offload heavy tasks (leaderboard recalculation, stat aggregation, reward distribution) from API requests and keep p95 latency stable.
– Used Redis-backed distributed locks to safely run parallel automation scripts while maintaining data consistency and stable p95 latency.
– Led end-to-end development with React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, managing CI/CD via GitLab and deploying production services on EC2.

### Software Engineer @ Cloudera

Served as a core contributor to Cloudera’s Site Reliability Engineering team, owning reliability, automation, and operational excellence for production Kubernetes platforms.
– Designed and automated incident response workflows on AWS using Terraform (IaC), enabling repeatable, auditableninfrastructure recovery during production incidents.
– Operated and optimized large-scale EKS Kubernetes clusters, handling cluster upgrades, node group lifecycle management, autoscaling, and CVE remediation with zero-downtime strategies.
– Led Helm-based application deployments, standardizing release processes and reducing configuration drift across environments.
– Administered and upgraded the Istio service mesh, including mTLS enforcement, traffic routing, canary rollouts, and sidecar lifecycle management to improve security and resilience.
– Improved platform reliability by automating CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Helm packaging, container builds), reducing manual intervention and deployment-related failures.
– Performed production upgrades and patching for Istio, Datadog agents, and container images, proactively addressing security vulnerabilities and stability risks.
– Actively participated in on-call rotations, diagnosing distributed system failures across Kubernetes, networking, and cloud infrastructure, and driving root cause analysis (RCA) for post-incident reviews.

Integrated JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for secure user authentication, enhancing application security.
