I'm a second-year Computer Engineering student at UCSB. I'm interested in real-time embedded software for autonomous systems and applications — which I'm learning more about working on sensors for Formula SAE and an autonomous submarine for SWE Robosub. In the past, I've focused on machine learning and organizing datasets for a diverse range of uses, from the insurance industry to COVID-19 research. ### Firmware Engineer @ Gaucho Racing at UC Santa Barbara
Jan 2024 – Present
- Configured STM32CubeMX and peripherals to read brake rotor temperature and time-of-flight sensors for CAN FD transmission.
- Implemented I2C master communication with STM32 HAL to support I2C protocol analyzer for debugging ECU.
- Developing ADC peripheral abstraction for the ECU using STM32 LL, including testing code and sliding window for signal smoothing.

### Software Engineer @ Society of Women Engineers

Member of SWE Tech Team, competing in 2026 RoboSub competition.
- Established embedded software stack for autonomous submarine, aiding technical decisions on selecting sensors (AHRS, pressure), microcontrollers (Arduino Mega), and communication protocols.
- Currently designing initial control loops and sensor communication via UART and I2C, preparing to interface between Arduino and Nvidia Jetson.
