Procore acquired HB and all its employees. Started working as a Software Engineer and then got promoted to Senior Software engineer within the first month.

Responsibilities:

Worked on multiple teams at procore from the Owners Product(HB Platform), Insights and then Data Platform. Contributing to the HB codebase initially, I moved to the Insights team to work on Ruby on Rails app and the React Front-end and then finally moved to the data platform team to work on various tools to enable the Analytics and ML teams.

Major Contributions:

Designed and built a star-schema powered report with a data pipeline.

Built a Kafka Connect cluster

Responsibilities:

Worked in an agile environment as a software engineer on Java back-end on Dropwizard framework with JOOQ for MySQL DB queries. Also, contributed to AngularJS front-end.

Domain:

Squad focused on integrations with external accounting systems. Interacting with APIs in external platforms to create and modify entities(contracts, invoices, change orders etc.) and importing entities from external systems into HB platform.

Major contributions:

Built an app to trigger and monitor various imports from different external systems.

Built and maintained Public facing API with OAuth and JWT.

Worked as a TA for courses CS110 - Introduction to Computer Application, CS142 - Data Literacy and CS336 - Principles of Information and Data Management, where I took recitals on Scratch, R and SQL respectively.

Summer Work

Development & maintenance for web application that students & faculty use to upload and review assignments.

Worked closely with Prof. T. Imielienski to develop content for a course book on Data Literacy.
