Researched keratin protein as biomaterial for use in absorbable cardiovascular sutures. Electrospun PCL-keratin-GAA nanofiber prototypes and used tensile testing, a Scanning Electron Microscope, and cell introduction analysis to determine optimal suture nanofiber. Developed a java-based program that outputs user’s chance of developing cardiovascular disease based on glucose, cholesterol, and age inputs. Research paper undergoing publication process at NHSJS.

Wrote and researched technical reports on lunar exploration, colonization, et al.. Invited to NASA Langley Research Center to meet NASA officials and peers and build a mission to Mars. Constructed a mission to Mars regarding mission integration, transit, human factors, communications, and scientific research logistics with 60 peers & NASA officials at Langley Research Center. Studied environmental and logistical implications.
