Expanded available datasets 8x and built tools for Image Classification & Generative Modelling for 'Paleobotany AI',  which is a computer vision based app that enables family, genus and species level taxonomic classification of leaf & fossil images.

- Database: created a web-scraping tool feeding to an auto-generated file structure and added 300,000+ new images to an existing dataset with unique ids and taxonomies [improved model accuracy to >80%]
- Cycle-GAN Model: supported developing a model for image-to-image translations between leaf and fossil images, to increase (synthesized) training examples in the fossil image domain
- Metadata Extractor: built a feature to extract/combine meta-datas of different data sets and auto-generate unified/common database-ids in an SQLite database; flags for duplicates 
- Taxonomic Lookup Table: scraped table of all 300,000 plant species into an SQLite database; used as a reference tool to lookup/filter databases by species, genus and family
