I’m a backend engineer focused on building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure. Currently at StrongDM, I work on the Identity Firewall and Zero Trust Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform, building distributed systems in Go that enforce access policies across infrastructure in real time.
Previously, I completed my Master’s in Computer Science at UIUC, where I focused on distributed systems, database systems, and software engineering for cloud-scale applications.
Before grad school, I spent two years at Clumio, where I built backup and restore systems for databases in public cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on data durability, consistency, and failure recovery.
I’ve consistently worked as a backend engineer at growth-stage cybersecurity startups, building customer-facing systems that demand high availability, correctness, and operational clarity. My core expertise lies in Go, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), distributed systems and databases.
I’m especially interested in the challenges of scaling backend systems, building cloud-native primitives, and designing infrastructure that enables secure and efficient data flows.
