Led and co-led design for complete product cycles of Android based collaboration devices (tablets, desk phones, mobile phones and large screens) supporting use cases for video calling, messaging, meeting, sharing, remote desktop access and other domain specific call features.
•Collaborated closely with remotely located product team of developers and designers, in an agile environment.
•Led the design for Cisco’s phone application on the above Android devices, utilizing the strengths of Android to make commonly used scenarios simpler to use.
•Made design modifications to the Android OS to bring collaboration to the forefront and improve ease of use.
•Advocated and incorporated an overhaul to existing features, adding greater value and improving usability.
•Collaborated in an agile environment with remote stakeholders including designers, product team and developers, working through issues and changes quickly.
•Validated designs by performing usability studies and fixed problem areas before shipping.
•Coached junior designers through the ins and outs of the product, technology and use cases, helping them take ownership of projects early on.
•Actively contributed to the central archetypes team, making sure that the product integrate cohesively into the ecosystem of Cisco’s collaboration products.
