As a Member of Technical Staff at VMware, I work on implementing features for Managed Detection and Response (MDR) in Carbon Black unit, a leading security product. My stack comprises of Java & Python apps, Elasticsearch for specialized data search and retrieval along with AWS cloud services to orchestrate and host components.

Previously, I was a Full Stack Developer at Barclays, where I delivered an instant credit card approval system with a focus on fraud detection. 

I earned a master's degree in computer science from North Carolina State University, where I gained strong knowledge of distributed systems, DevOps and cloud computing. 

I am passionate about application development and learning new technologies. I have experience in designing and building microservices, working on deploying them in Kubernetes and orchestrating them using Helm Charts. I have also worked with MongoDB, Vert.x, React, Kafka, Redis, and S3 for data storage, processing, and analysis. I am a goal-driven and collaborative person, who values quality, and innovation

•  Delivered an instant credit card approval system successfully with a focus on Fraud Detection that was used for client partners. Involved in complex database schema design in MongoDB which also served as analytics source for downstream team partners
• Developed new features for fraud platform rule engine system that comprised of Vert.x, React and Kafka. Such a system catered to business analysts and business critical teams in the Cards fraud department.
• Implemented storage utility to store fraud detection rule datasets in S3 which is streamed from Kafka for analysis.
• Integrated new machine learning models to the fraud decision platform for real-time detection of third-party and first-party fraud. Enhanced the performance of the platform with Redis based caching solution.
