As a development mentor, I was responsible for leading the technical aspects of the projects I worked on and providing guidance/mentorship to new members in the lab. Some of the projects I worked on are the following: I built an Oculus Quest application for visualizing and manipulating molecular crystal/Bravais lattice structures in virtual reality. (Unity & C#). I built a new major declaration web platform for Dartmouth Information, Technology, and Consulting using Node Express and React (full-stack). I built an augmented reality application for Oculus Quest 3 that lets medical students practice intubating medical dummies while receiving live feedback on their performance in the world around them (Unity, C#, OpenAI LLMs, TCP networking, embedded programming with RasPi 5). This last project won the John G. Kemeny Computing prize for System Design at Dartmouth and will be used by residents at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in the fall of 2024.
