Assisted with the onboarding of SE's as we built out the organization. ### Software Developer @ IBM Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Research Triangle Park, North Carolina IBM Cloud Private - Multi-Cloud Manager • Designed & Built UI and CLI for compliance checking & enforcement, app management, monitoring, and visualization. Multi-Cloud Manager is a control plane for managing many Kubernetes clusters. • Developed microservices and user interfaces with Node.js, Golang, React, Redux, GraphQL and supporting technologies. • Configured CI/CD pipelines for applications packaged as docker images. Responsibilities included linting, unit testing, building images, and writing configuration for Kubernetes controllers. • Published a tutorial on extending weave scope. Weave scope offers observability of container orchestration systems. Whitewater Tools • Developed and maintained microservices built with Node.js, Seneca.js, and RabbitMQ. • Microservices executed tasks daily such as syncing Slack profiles with our internal LDAP directory and managing access (onboarding/offboarding). • Delivered IBM support for Slack Enterprise Grid with a user base of over 90,000 daily active users. ### Core Leader @ DALI Lab Jan 2016 – Jan 2017 | Hanover, NH • Improved lab experience by collaborating with the core leadership team to develop on-boarding processes, internal tools, and resources for lab members. • Mentored a team of students developing Pulse, a web application for campus surveying. The lab is an innovative startup experience where teams of students use modern design and development practices to bring big ideas to life. DALI partners with startups, nonprofits, faculty, and students to build web experiences, visualizations, and mobile apps. The capacities in which I worked at the lab were as a project manager, mentor, developer, and designer. Project Vocate Vocate is a startup based in hanover that matches students with internships and entry level jobs via a web platform. For this project my team and I developed a gamified survey with vanilla js and jquery.
