Drove multi-year projects and cross-org alignment across Monetization and Reality Labs. ### Founder & CEO @ kyrie.fm Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco Bay Area Kyrie.fm is a platform for podcast listeners to discuss their favorite podcasts. ### Software Engineer @ Lyft Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area Full-stack engineer on the Payments team to deliver a better experience for our drivers and riders. Spearheaded and led the tax experience for 2M+ drivers. Built out Django microservices on the backend and worked in React / Redux on the frontend. ### Founder & CEO @ The Pragmatic Lab Jan 2011 – Jan 2015 | Singapore Bootstrapped and sold a profitable company in Singapore. The Pragmatic Lab taught students how to build iOS, Android and Web applications in three days. Hired 16 trainers to teach iOS and Android app development to over a thousand students in Singapore. The Pragmatic Lab has been featured in multiple publications, including the Business Times Singapore, and MyPaper Singapore. ### iOS Engineer @ AppFruition Jan 2011 – Jan 2013 Developed a personal dictionary Definition - a personal dictionary with over 7 million words searched and 100k users. Featured on the Apple App Store. Emulated an arcade game and brought it to the iPhone. Stacker - a block-stacking fun-filled game also attracted the attention of thousands. Developed using heavy frameworks such as Core Graphics and Core Animation. Other personal projects include Xmas iCards and NUS High. The first app allowed a user to pre-pick his greeting cards from templates, while the latter app simplified processes such as collating the address book and connecting to networks in my high school. ### Founder & CEO @ Dive Into iOS Jan 2011 – Jan 2013 | http://diveintoios.com Built an online business that taught iOS through online videos & exercises. This was specifically crafted for students who had little time to spare - Dive Into iOS ensured you would learn how to build iPhone applications within an hour. Received more than 600 subscribers had signed up within 14 months. Demand was very high - live sessions had to be conducted for up to 200 participants at one time High reach with maximum scalability - students could come from the US, Asia, & Europe and learn how to build iOS apps ### iOS Engineer @ Roomorama.com Jan 2011 – Jan 2012 | Singapore Lead iOS developer at Roomorama. Allowed customers to browse and book apartments on the go. Crafted user interfaces that were intuitive, dealt with API endpoint interaction, and custom drawing.
