Being part of a small design team also means I wear many hats from product conception to delivery- researcher, designer, prototyper, and teach design practices to interested parties. ### Customer Support Engineer @ OSIsoft Jan 2013 – Jan 2016 | San Leandro My primary role at this job is to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues for all OSIsoft software. We have hundreds of products and I have successfully resolved over 1000+ cases. I have also traveled to customer's facilities and perform on-site installations, upgrades, and tuneups as a field service engineer. I have also taught external classes for customers both at company headquarters and off-site. Having worked for two years, I took on additional responsibility as a phone trainer for new customer support engineers. I've helped onboard new CSEs by phone personalized 1:1 phone training and coaching. In addition to these responsibilities, I have also worked on graphic design and UX projects for the department including designing badges, designing an welcome newsletter for on-boarding new customers, providing UX feedback and mockups on small projects, and being the UX and Visual Design expert on an internal project. ### Video Production Intern @ OSIsoft Jan 2012 – Jan 2013 | San Leandro, CA I worked with technical experts across a variety of different products to create B2B software education learning videos that help guide our customers through a variety complex topics including common issues, installations, and general understanding of what the PI System means. ### Branding & Photography @ MAC'D Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco, CA I helped build and launch a creative, build-your-own mac and cheese restaurant. ### Co Founder, Animator, Designer @ BearBoat Studios LLC Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 | Berkeley, CA I co-founded this small animation studio with fellow Bears from UC Berkeley as an outlet to pursue our creative passions after work. We create interactive children's books with a heart-warming story and a good lesson for little ones. I am the head of animation, and have worked as an animator on two of our titles- "Lil' Red and the Lazy Coyote" and "The Whimsical Adventures of Millie and Loo". These titles are both animated storybooks which are now sold in different phone and tablet formats including Apple, Android, and Google. Our stories include complete in-house productions and collaborations with other artists. As an animator, I mostly use Adobe After Effects to manipulate flat 2D images in a rigged "puppet" style animation. Occasionally, I will do hand-drawn animation in photoshop as well.
