2018 - 2022

I was the Team Lead and Manager for Hostnet SRE, which is responsible for on-host networking stack across almost all of Google production hosts and also responsible for Google Compute Engine's Virtual Networking Data plane. I helped create the SRE team, wrote its initial charter and built most of the local team.

2013 - 2018

Founding member of the Cloud Networking SRE team, responsible for Google Compute Engine's Andromeda Virtual Networking stack. My work covered all aspects of the product from its creation through its exponential growth - from incident and abuse management to full automation of new location deployments.

In addition, I was also an SRE during some of this time for Google's Bandwidth Enforcer.

2011-2013

As one of the first (and only) SRE for GCE, I managed and ran Google Compute Engine (GCE) in beta before it was available to the general public.

I was later a member of the first SRE team to manage all aspects of the GCE stack, with focus on Cloud Networking.
