1. Lab Directed Research and Dev. funded project to develop and implement a Green's function-based simulator for GISAXS process on GPU capable of high-throughput determination and analysis of X-ray diffraction images.  
2.  Implementation of parallel algorithms for real-space structure reconstruction and structural information extraction from X-ray 2D diffraction patterns using methods such as reverse Monte Carlo.  
3. First-principles studies of electronic structure and charge transfer processes for discovery of new luminescent materials through high throughput computations.
