Graduate Research Assistant working under Professor Zhi Sun on Underwater MIMO communication.
Work discription:
• Proposed and developed a hybrid underwater distributed MIMO system using Acoustic antennas for beamforming and magnetic induction antennas for synchronization amongst the distributed transceivers.
• Compared carrier frequency and clock timing synchronization capabilities first numerically and then experimentally for a master-slave configuration.
• Performed numerical analysis on MATLAB for SNR, BER and Throughput for beamforming and space time coding using the proposed synchronization method.
• Validated the system using experiments for a transmit beamforming and Alamouti space time coding scheme in an in-lab water tank using Software-Defined Radios (USRP N210), Acoustic Hydrophones, Magnetic Induction antennas, GNU radio companion and MATLAB.

• Developed the Bluetooth low energy (BLE) based prototype and working model

• Calibrated the pollution sensors at The National Environmental Engineering Research Institute
• Procured funding and investment from Courage Digital Private Limited
• Led collaborations with K.J. Somaiya Hospital and K.J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce for research purposes
• Executed deals and designed the products to be installed across Somaiya campus
