I'm a Software Engineer who loves building things that scale.
 
Three years in, I've shipped payment systems at Walmart serving 270M+ weekly customers, designed an identity resolution platform at Varo Bank that unified 2M+ accounts, and somewhere in between written a 10-line script that saved every new engineer a full day of setup work.
 
The big and the small both matter to me.
 
I'm at my best when the problem is ambiguous, the stakes are real, and the team is moving fast. Backend is my home — Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems — but I'm comfortable across the stack when the work calls for it.
 
Next, I'm looking to join a team in NYC or remotely where I can go deeper on high-scale backend systems — ideally in fintech, payments, or infrastructure where the engineering problems are genuinely hard.

## Work Experience
### Software Engineer @ Varo Bank
Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco, CA
At Varo Bank I owned backend systems touching 2M+ customers and $100M+ in monthly transaction volume. I built the identity resolution system from scratch cutting manual reconciliation by 40%, migrated ACH processing to an async Kafka pipeline dropping transaction time from 4.2s to 380ms, and brought auth-related production incidents from 12 per month to zero via OAuth 2.0. I treated every system I touched as if I owned it in production — because I did.

### Software Engineer @ Walmart Global Tech
Jan 2022 – Jan 2023 | India
At Walmart Global Tech I built Cart and Checkout systems serving hundreds of millions of users. I parallelized inventory calls dropping p99 latency from 780ms to 118ms, applied Cassandra optimistic locking across 50K+ daily concurrent cart merges, and authored compensating transactions in our checkout saga eliminating 15–20 weekly manual interventions. Our Kubernetes HPA configuration on GCP GKE sustained a 3x Black Friday traffic surge with zero degradation — building systems where failure was not an option.
