As VP of Design for the QuickBooks platform, leading a 150+ person team of Product Designers, Design Researchers, and Design Ops, I was accountable for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and delivery of products and services to 10M customers across Small Business, Mid-Market, Solopreneur, and Accountants. I elevated design excellence by fostering a diverse and inclusive culture, building a world-class leadership team, and driving product innovation through a clear, customer-focused vision; contributing to 19% YoY revenue growth to $9.5B in Global Business Solutions Group.
During my time, we launched Intuit's first ecosystem-wide solution, Intuit Enterprise Suite, an AI-powered platform designed to meet the complex needs of mid-market customers. This integrated suite unifies capabilities across accounting, payments, workforce solutions, and cash flow management, positioning Intuit for the next phase of growth.
In previous roles as VP of Design for QuickBooks Money and Director of Design for Workforce Solutions, I led teams that delivered transformative innovations, including standalone Payroll and Money offerings, Workforce mobile app, automation for Account Payable/Receivable, Auto-Payroll, and Bill Pay. I also drove platform consolidation and modernization initiatives. These efforts were instrumental in saving significant time for customers, boosting their confidence in running their businesses, and ultimately contributing to double-digit YoY growth for the QuickBooks team.

I led the UX team for Samsung Mobile Division, managing a 600+ cross-functional team of interaction designers, visual designers, voice interaction designers, sound & haptic designers, researchers, prototypers, and IP experts. My team was responsible for the global launch of all Galaxy phones, tablets, and wearables, and shaping the UX strategy and vision for the next flagship products - Galaxy S and Note series.
My previous role was focused on the native applications such as call, message, camera, gallery, calendar, email, clock, reminder, game, and store. I managed a team of 110 designers and managers. During my time, we launched Galaxy S8, Note8, and Tab S3. We also delivered Samsung’s first intelligent voice assistant, Bixby, through the core mobile applications as well as the IoT ecosystem.
During my tenure, I focused on building durable capabilities in UX community that were critical to experience evolution such as rapid experiments, data-backed decisions, and efficient online collaboration across the globe. I also implemented a 360-performance review system and Design Reviews that established tools and rhythms for the team to give & receive ongoing feedback on their performance and craft.

In this role, I helped to shape the product strategy and delivered excellent customer experience for QuickBooks Self-Employed that grew from 2,000 paid subscribers to 40,000 in less than one year (recorded 390,000 subscribers in 2017). I built a high performing design team, and my team drove the end-to-end customer experience that included product discovery, acquisition, engagement, and activities.
Previous roles include:
Sr. Manager of Experience Design where I led the first time user experience of QuickBooks Online, resulting in the increased acquisition, activation, and conversion rates of the new user base. My team also delivered foundational elements that the larger team was able to build from, such as communication strategy, data visualization, and information architecture.
Principal Interaction Designer where I led the user experience strategy and the execution of Mint Home & Biz beta, an experimental product for sole proprietors, contractors, and freelancers to track their expenses and get ready for the tax time. The product was a precursor of QuickBooks Self-Employed that became one of the fastest growing offerings at Intuit.
