Received funding to conduct independent research in India on ethical and sustainable initiatives in the domestic fashion supply chain. Travelled around India interviewing designers, suppliers, e-commerce platforms and artisans in Delhi, Varanasi, Bangalore, and rural Khachh to identify opportunities for sustainable design interventions. Investigated alternative production methods, disappearing craft communities, ethical cotton farming, evolving marketplaces, and the changing role of design in India.

Consulted with the Chief Product and Marketing Officer and Creative Director of United Colors of Benetton (UCB) to develop a strategy for UCB to establish its position as the leader in innovative knitwear. Analyzed qualitative and quantitative data from UCB global brand audits and surveys. Conducted consumer-based research, interviewed and surveyed current and potential customers. Utilized Design Thinking principles to reframe challenge, identify problem spaces, uncover insights and propose solutions through ideation, prototyping, and testing.
