I worked with Dr. Gowtham R and Prof. Dayanand Vinod to develop an efficient solution to the frequent problems caused by wild elephant herds across the forest fringes of Kerala, India. We developed a novel layered approach that minimizes the load of running deep learning models on computationally limited devices like Raspberry Pi. Our research paper was presented at the Fifth International Symposium on Intelligent Systems Technologies and Applications, 2019.
