As the lead engineer for the mobile platform at One, I drive the architecture, development, and delivery of our cross-platform React Native and React Native Web app. I manage a team of engineers and QA while providing technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to all front-end developers across the organization.

As the lead mobile app engineer for our React Native app, I was dedicated to crafting an outstanding user experience through thoughtful design and robust engineering. I led architectural decisions to ensure seamless functionality and intuitive user interactions, leveraging GraphQL for efficient data management and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline for rapid iteration. Beyond technical execution, I focused on optimizing app performance, scalability, and reliability to support long-term growth. With a keen eye for design and extensive experience in mobile development, I helped shape an app that was both visually engaging and a delight to use.

Joined through Bill.com’s acquisition of Divvy, where I continued leading mobile architecture efforts for the Divvy app before helping define and drive the vision for a new unified mobile platform serving both organizations.

I played a key role in shaping the long-term technical strategy, establishing the architecture, and guiding cross-functional teams across React Native, Swift, and Kotlin to deliver a scalable, high-performance foundation for future growth. Partnering with engineering and product leadership, I helped align platform modernization with business goals, introduced mobile best practices, and mentored engineers to accelerate delivery and quality across the organization.

Created elegant UI features using React Native for the award winning Discover iOS and Android Mobile App with over 15 million downloads on the app stores. This provided customers a great user experience when accessing their Discover accounts. I was able to use data analytics from users sessions and crash reporting data, to improve the overall experience in the app. Using a testing first mentality, all new code that I wrote was 100% tested using unit and e2e automation testing. I worked on and maintained, the CI/CD pipeline on GitHub Actions to create a highly automated developer workflow. This in turn helped provide the business the most value, and time to create new and advanced features. I have advanced my knowledge of agile and have lead many ceremonies, to keep projects and goals on schedule.
