Key projects included - AI powered listing creation - Content coach - AI search and discovery ### Sr. Product Design Manager - Google Search App - Core Experience @ Google Jan 2021 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco, California Led the product design team responsible for Google search experience on iPhone and iPad. ### Staff Product Designer - Discover @ Google Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 ### Staff Product Designer - Design Systems @ Uber Jan 2018 – Jan 2020 | San Francisco Bay Area - Started the inclusive design practice within the Uber product team starting with a focus on accessibility - Developed inclusive design guidelines for the Uber brand and product. - Created the business case and measurement for product level changes into accessibility - Created a set of design components with built-in accessibility features and authored design system documentation to accompany them. - Ran workshops for designers, PM’s & engineers to factor in inclusion early in the design process. ### Product Design Lead & Manager - Uber Lite @ Uber Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | San Francisco Bay Area I led the team that designed Uber Lite - a simpler, faster and conversational ride sharing app designed for global audience. Lite went live in 30 countries and attracted an additional 3 million new users to Uber. Most of this growth was organic, word-of-mouth and didn’t use marketing dollars. As Lite grew, I scaled the design learnings to the rest of Uber’s product team and kickstarted an internal playbook for designing inclusive products. My contributions - Cofounding the team, securing resourcing & driving the overall product vision, user-facing value props & UX design. - Managing a cross-site design team in Bangalore and San Francisco. - Driving alignment between product, design, research and engineering, marketing leadership from conception, during experimentation, till launch and refinements. ### Product Design Lead - International Growth @ Uber Jan 2015 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco Bay Area I helped build, lead and grow the international product design team at Uber over 2.5 years. My team was responsible for designing rider and driver facing experiences across India, China, South East Asia, Latin America, Middle East and Africa. As a part of this role, I spent a considerable amount of time on the ground in these regions learning about cultural differences, tech infrastructure (maps and payments) and motivations for using Uber. Design its first brand identity and client pitches. Clients included Sopo Bicycle Co-operative and Roots Atlanta. ### Design Intern @ Thing Farm LLC Jan 2007 – Jan 2007 | Greater Atlanta Area Thingfarm was a design agency specializing in designing sustainable, inclusive and beautiful retail experiences. I got my first taste of client work here and loved working with the talented team of designers and fabricators.
