– Ground Transportation (GT): Had a role in implementing APIs for GT services to support search and booking for point to point transfers, an added capability over Expedia’s legacy GT component which just supports Airport to Hotel commute/vice-versa. – Major upgrade for our GraphQl layer which enhanced way of fetching and displaying GT inventory data for client. On-boarded Expedia partners (Walmart, Wells, etc.) to GT.
– Improvised GT shop experience by resolving accessibility issues, refining maps and other components of React based GT progressive web apps. Abacus to EGTNL (TNL- test and Learn) migration across GT services for managing experiments
Azure Resource Graph: Role Based Access Control (ARG-RBAC) --- Feature work on RBAC components (Ingestion, Query service) of Azure Resource Graph which is a large scale ingestion and query distributed system used by partners to query across Azure resources, implemented Admin Controllers for RBAC scheduler service
– Alexa Drive Mode: Primarily responsible for design, implementation Local Search Cards for Alexa Drive Mode to give info on nearby places when user makes VUI requests regarding local stores/shops etc to Alexa while driving, along with major bug fixes and enhancing user and voice experience of Drive Mode. Tech stack: Swift, Objective-C, Xcode
– Toyota/Ford/Lincoln/Lexus + Alexa SDL Apps: Actively engaged with Toyota and Ford OEMS to successfully deliver major bug fixes, feature improvements for Toyota+Alexa, Ford+Alexa iOS and Android Smart Device Link(SDL- InVehicle Infotainment (IVI) system) Apps with 200k registered users, by reinforcing various components of our apps like audio session, microphone focus(Alexa wake word), Voice service (AVS) using Java, Swift, Android Studio, Xcode.
– Delivered a standalone Toyota+Alexa iOS project to Toyota by removing dependency on Amazon’s brazil build system.
– Design, development and feature improvements for Retail transaction audit system(RTAS) (RESTful web app to parse and present transaction data) and Advanced checkout solutions(ACS), a point of sale app for grocery retailers like Walmart.
