I design learning systems for manufacturing and logistics and not one-off training events.

At Cepheid, I work at the intersection of operations, compliance, and instructional design: converting tribal knowledge and SOPs into scalable experiences that reduce variation, accelerate competency, and produce measurable outcomes. Recent work includes leading the TRS→SPIRIT modernization, standardizing facilitation through a Train-the-Trainer pilot, and integrating AI-assisted development to compress analysis and iteration cycles.
My sweet spot is regulated environments — biotech, med device, R&D — where training has real stakes and "good enough" isn't good enough. I think about learning the way product teams think about software: versioned, governed, instrumented, and built to scale.
When I'm not designing systems, I'm usually on a trail with my camera or testing a new bake in the kitchen.
