# Stanley Chu > Full Stack Software Engineer | JavaScript | React | Node.js | PostgreSQL | MongoDB Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/stanley I'm a full-stack software engineer with a passion for developing user friendly applications through creativity and strategic planning. My journey has involved learning the fundamentals of Javascript then diving into the intricacies of data structures and algorithms. Through some of these challenges, I've acquired the ability to approach problems strategically and efficiently. Failure has been the cornerstone of my success in engineering. It has taught me not to shy away from problems but to recognize that every failure simply signifies the existence of another potential solution. Thanks to these experiences, I've been able to put these skills to work in developing full-stack web applications using a range of technology stacks. At the moment, I'm in the process of developing a barber booking web application tailor-made for my business needs. The primary objective of this Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is to streamline the appointment booking process and consolidate all business-related data onto a single platform. This means no more juggling between different apps to respond to text messages and manage appointments separately. This initiative aims to address several pain points within the business, including preventing missed appointments, eliminating scheduling conflicts (double bookings), and ensuring prompt client responses. Additionally, it will empower barbers by facilitating online advertising, ultimately fostering business growth. When I'm not coding, you can find me building cars or running along the beach of San Francisco.
