I have worked on building several of our high traffic products from the ground up to move forward in our ongoing efforts of migrating our full fantasy experience that is largely built on a legacy code PHP tech stack to a modern React based experience. I have been allocated to work as FE lead for Yahoo Fantasy Plus. We have launched many products/features to enhance our subscription offering, for MLB and NFL. These include but are not limited to Trade Hub, Research Assistant, Trade Insights, Advanced Stats, Optimal Lineup and more. I have single handedly worked to create our mweb/desktop application Yahoo Fantasy Slate. Slate is a sports prediction contest with cash prizes that is free to play. I also worked with our lead senior frontend engineer to develop our newest product Bestball, and recently worked with one other FE developer on implementing our Tourney Pick'em experience in a new tech stack. Slate, Bestball and Tourney were developed using React.js on our Fluxible based framework. I have also solely become the owner of our Yahoo Fantasy Football Alexa skill and am responsible for revitalizing the skill, adding new features and maintaining upkeep. Created backend using SQL Server and Entity Framework and frontend in Visual Studio with C#, HTML, CSS, Javscript and JQuery for logging and displaying construction impact projects across UCSB campus. ### Frontend Web Development Intern @ Yahoo Jan 2017 – Jan 2017 | Greater Los Angeles Area I worked on various bug fixes and added promotions to the main Yahoo Sports site. My internship projects involved creating the Yahoo Sports chrome extension, which sets Yahoo Sports as the browser's default homepage, but allows for options no default, daily fantasy, and mlb scoreboard as well. The extension also displays trending game card information, as well as other sport types such as mlb, ncaaf, champions league, and premier league. The extension was created using React.js, vanilla JS and CSS and has reached over 10,000 users. It could be found on the chrome store, click the attached link to view. Other projects involved the creation of components using React.js and Node.js for user's subscriptions to favorite team alerts, as well as the creation of a REST api through the use of Loopback.io.
