Outlook Design System and Expressions team

User Experience Designer for the Your Phone app team under Microsoft Mobile Experience (MMX).

Took ownership and built experiences that required a deep horizontal knowledge of the end-to-end product. I created and expanded from the bottom up the Your Phone design system, Engagement experiences, and executed product initiatives that improved the quality and retention of the Your Phone app.

Led coordinating efforts with 2 fellow intern coordintators for our 2020 summer cohort of Experience Collective (XC) Design and Research Microsoft interns.

Efforts involved coordinating an internship program that included 8 different product teams, 9 interns, each of their managers and mentors, and recruiters and business leaders of the organizations.

Conducted multiple syncs with individuals in each party to ensure clear communication, organized intern events that allowed opportunities for interns to connect in smaller group settings, engaged with each intern to ensure their wellness throughout the internship, created opportunities for interns to present their final work with the larger design organization and leadership.

Served as a Teaching Assistant for HCDE 210 Explorations in Human-Centered Design and Engineering.

Led ideation, design, and research activities with pre-major students.

Connected with students beyond the classroom setting and mentored students who were interested in the UX design field.
