I'm an expert in front end technologies, having worked with a wide variety of cutting edge technologies to build complex interactive applications in the browser. Though my main interest lies in front end development, I often spend my time in full stack roles and am equally comfortable working in the backend.

As comes with the territory of being a JavaScript-focused developer, I'm learning and building new skills constantly. Whether that be a new framework, language, or library, my repertoire is constantly expanding. If I haven’t used a new front end technology I at least try to be aware of and understand it at a high level. I’ve used this expertise to introduce new technologies, lead their adoption across companies, and set standards for their use.

When I'm not at work, I also work on a video game, Ripple, I've written from scratch in JavaScript  (see blog below). I also maintain and develop a number of side projects/websites. These collectively serve as a test bed for me to stay fluent in new trends and technologies that I can then leverage at my job.

I'm a graduate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, receiving a dual Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Mathematics.
