Led several initiatives to improve CI and software quality including implementing several Github workflows, integrating and instrumenting our app with Sentry, integrating and implementing various end to end tests using playwright (including axe for accessibility).

Led, architected, and implemented major features within the NERIS app including incident form creation, edit, and printing of large and complex resources, API key management for app integrations, and department data management and geospatial visualizations. This involved managing tickets and work for other developers and designing reusable abstractions for use with React Server Components. and server actions.

Initiated and led architectural efforts in our new design system which included developing and documenting our strategy for component APIs. This improved our iteration velocity and reduced breaking changes.

Developed and released data visualization revamp on our dashboard using SVG-based library and eventually took over as tech lead.

Performed web performance testing and later analysis for reporting to stakeholders.

Initiated a revamp of our approach to AB testing on the frontend. It became incorporated into our design system and used across the org.

Of my own initiative, enhanced our monorepo tooling which was used across all of our frontend codebases. This enabled me to unblock others and led to me being recruited for our pipeline and testing framework overhaul in which I led the design and implementation.

Conducted technical interviews.

Managed headcount and budgeting for food, gifts, supplies, and games with human resources.

Coordinated with other company branches to re-distribute funds amongst us.

Coordinated with designer and human resources to create promotional content for our events and market it across the office.
