# Stephanie Schapowal > Senior Product Designer at MoMA Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/stephanieschapowal http://www.stephanieschapowal.com I am a Senior Product Designer with 7 years of experience designing for the web, mobile apps, and environmental digital screens. With a background in graphic design, I prioritize well-organized information and visual craft to create elegant online experiences. My favorite challenges involve creating accessible experiences for all, designing across both digital and physical spaces, and working with thoughtful collaborators. I have been lucky to speak about my work at Figma Config 2022 (with Eric Li), MCN 2024 (with Madhav Tankha), and the 2023 Rutgers Design Lecture Series; as well as with classes at Parsons, VCU, and Rutgers. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer @ The Museum of Modern Art Jan 2023 – Present | New York City Metropolitan Area I design and ship features for moma.org, in-gallery screens, and assorted digital properties to support visitors’ experience both online and at the Museum, reaching over 20 million visitors annually. I led end-to-end design of MoMA’s single sign-on system, unifying login flows across platforms as the foundation for membership’s future digital growth. I redesigned moma.org’s global navigation, resulting in an 8% increase in traffic to online ticketing, and greater traffic to exhibitions and learning content. I redesigned MoMA’s digital visitor guide, tripling traffic to the online map and increasing traffic from the guide to key pages by 35%. I own and evolve MoMA’s digital design system by managing our Figma library, and collaborating with engineers to create a centralized Tailwind library. I developed and maintain team-wide research processes, including user interviews, usability testing, and reporting. ### Product Designer @ The Museum of Modern Art Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | New York City Metropolitan Area ### Product Designer @ Big Human Jan 2019 – Jan 2021 | Greater New York City Area I led design for consumer-facing products from discovery through delivery, including branding and design systems, user flows, high-fidelity UI, visual QA, and stakeholder presentations for clients including startups, healthcare nonprofits, fintech, and e-commerce.
