Designed a RESTful API and PostgresQL database to replace an existing API for a questionnaire microservice.

- Analyzed stress test result from loader.io in order to determine bottlenecks needing to be resolved.
- Scaled service to handle 1,000 requests per second with an average response time of 1647ms and 0% error rate. 
- Containerized application with Docker in order to prepare for future scalability and maintenance.

### Frontend Engineer | Project Atelier @ Personal Projects

Designed a ratings and reviews section for an eCommerce application.

Technologies: React, Node.js, Express, Firebase, AWS EC2, Jest.  

- Architected an interface in React that pulled from an outside API and allowed users to view ratings and reviews for a specific product. 
- Built a Node.js and Express middleware to handle different HTTPS requests from the frontend to the API.
- Allowed users to filter through a list of questions to filter reviews by category. 
- Implemented Firebase storage in order to upload photos and persist URLs to the API.

Assisted in taking intraocular pressure and administering intraperitoneal and intravenous tail vein injections to rodents. Was responsible for image quantifications and compiling data into presentations for meetings. As well as assisted in setting up and preforming assays.
