I learned respect for such systems thinking from previous professions: • As a plumber and an electrician, I learned about invisible infrastructure: when it fails, everyone feels it. • As a builder, I learned that big outcomes are assembled detail by detail. • As session musician, I learned to listen first, adapt, and elevate the larger composition. • As a live production manager, I learned how to efficiently orchestrate moving parts under pressure. • As navigator and captain, I learned that one should expect unexpected shoals and plan accordingly. Experience is the best teacher. I’m drawn to: • Complex platforms that need structural clarity • Defining systems that scale instead of patching problems • Aligning product, engineering, and business around coherent direction • Zero-to-one builds where decisions compound.
