At MDC, I am working on MRI guided robotic surgery.
I run Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Motor Controls (Mechanical Engineering). 
The bulk of my effort is to build highly precise haptic feedback in our surgical tools for cancer biopsy and ablations.

I build high precision robotics for MDC from the lowest levels from motor control tuning, to custom pcb design to carefully manage capacitance to reduce noise, to working with EtherCAT standards group on finding an optimal configuration, to validate and verification encoder quality, to working with our motor controller manufacturer on building a sensor board that would suit our needs, to configure systems to be realtime (OS, kernels, drivers, BIOS configs, etc).
