Sterling Kelly is a full stack software engineer with a strong passion for entrepreneurship. As part of an Agile Development Team, I used React and C# to develop new features for the Mobile Messaging and Automation applications of the NGP VAN Action Platform CRM and API, as well as to perform maintenance on existing functions.  To better utilize modern redux and react patterns in these applications, I led front end refactoring projects streamlining the structure and flow of stateful information.  In order to test the various features of both applications, I developed automated tests using the Selenium framework.

### Co-Founder @ Swing Campaign

We at Swing Campaign aim to raise political awareness while increasing accountability between representatives and their constituents through our mobile app, available on both iPhone and Android.  Our goal is to bring power to everyone's voice at every level of government.  
As Cofounder and CEO, I have guided our team to the creation of a functional mobile app using Django and React Native, as well as performed reach out to get politicians and local leaders interested.  I also traveled down the East Coast to gather opinions on the state of their local politics as well as our app.

Collaborated on a Google Chrome web extension that analyzes a reddit thread and provides a toxicity report on the comments. Conducted research to discover what words would be most likely to lead to an argument.  Analyzed the results of the research to direct the algorithm of the extension.

### Full Stack Software Engineer Intern @ Cobu

Worked full time with the development team on Doorbell’s Admin Application, creating functions that the
operations team requested. Questioned residents on what could make the app and their experience better in the future. Hosted a variety of different events for our residents, and analyzed various company processes to ensure they aligned with the goal of scalability.

### Software and Operations Intern @ Cobu
Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Designed and led an App Challenge to increase usage and understanding of the Doorbell App on iOS and Android.  Led operations for Doorbell sponsored events by interacting with residents. Held focus groups and contributed to new Design of the Doorbell App. Analyzed Database statistics relative to App Usage.
