- Delivered an MVP with a team of 4 engineers, consolidating the entire IP lifecycle onto a SaaS web application allowing IP teams to efficiently manage and protect their IP portfolio
- Contributed to the MVP by designing and developing foundational data models, entity relationships, databases, backend logic, and API features using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL
- Expanded to a full-stack role to assist with frontend development (React, TypeScript), independently executing the design, development, testing, delivery, and maintenance of key features across the stack
- Built a team management system that enabled IP managers to assign and track the users contributing to an IP matter along with their roles
- Created a document management system by leveraging an AWS S3 backend integration and building an interactive UI for users to store, access, custom label, and manage their documents and images, including file attachments to IP docketing items
- Contributed to the development of a rules engine that automated workflow management of patent applications and maintenance processes by generating recommended tasks and deadlines
- Developed a cost tracking feature to simplify expense management for IP teams by importing invoice data automatically, linking this data to associated IP matters, allowing custom labeling, and exporting expense reports
