As a Senior Product Engineer on the Workspaces team, I led the development of numerous product features within Amplitude Analytics, including rich text elements on dashboards, first-class support for metrics, a Slack integration for chart alerts, and the All Content / global search page.

On platform team, owned the task pipeline and queueing system for assignment of tasks to labelers - used by thousands of labelers & Scale's internal operations team - as well as related admin, task management, and recall systems.

Implemented data labeling features for 2D & LiDAR applications and improved internal supply optimization tools for QA and operations teams. For fun, increased developer productivity through strong typing of source code.

Led full-stack development of the application layer for a podcasting app as the first engineering hire. Guided team on best practices of system design, user experience, project planning, and testing. Implemented responsive UI components for native & web platforms. Architected event sourcing system used to track play statistics and provide data for the company’s analytics pipeline.

Worked within cross-functional teams on the design, implementation, and maintenance of both internal applications and new product features. Enhanced existing web applications and service APIs in order to improve data quality and simplify human-machine interactions.

Lead contributor to the Vertical Console, an in-house text labeling tool where AI Trainers provided corrective feedback for Amy & Andrew, the virtual agents x.ai built for scheduling meetings over email & Slack.
