Hello! I’m a passionate software engineer with over eight years of experience building backend (and more recently frontend) systems, particularly in distributed and platform oriented architectures. My work spans a variety of industries, from e-commerce, to accounting automation, to cryptocurrency arbitrage. I thrive on tackling complex technical challenges while optimizing systems for scalability and reliability.

Throughout my career, I've worked on optimizing and scaling workflow platforms across various industries. In my current role, I played an important part in developing and scaling a workflow solution for property managers, taking a product from MVP to general availability in under a year. Within six months, we're processing over a quarter million workflow runs per month within a year. Previously, I developed a highly configurable workflow engine for accounting automation, refining my ability to build flexible, efficient systems that streamline complex processes. 

Earlier in my career, at Recharge Payments, a leader in the e-commerce subscription management space, I worked to enhance customer and merchant experiences by scaling and improving core backend systems. I contributed extensively to our event-driven pub/sub infrastructure, building both webhook receivers and consumer functions that respond in real-time to customer actions.

I’m highly skilled in Python and Ruby and have extensive experience building microservices with frameworks like Flask and Rails. I’m also passionate about maintaining clean, well-tested code and have a track record of breaking down legacy monoliths into more efficient, specialized systems.
