Worked on the Travel Box flagship product for global tour operators in travel and tourism business domain; delivered a number of international implementation projects for clients in the United States, UK, and Hungary. Partnered with clients to administer and troubleshoot the ticketing module. Designed a functionality that retrieves external booking information to import into Travel Box. Designed modules and panels for GUI handling, including a complete flight seat map function allowing for graphical seat selection. Authored project documentation.
Implemented GDS and H2H systems such Travelport universal API, Wizz tours API and worked on Amadeus and Galileo GDSs.
Achievements:
• Built and integrated Wizz H2H and Travelport Universal flight APIs into the main product, using JaxWS, REST, JSON, and threaded session handling– resulting in flight search, selection, seat adding, and confirmation features.
• Managed client API integration of Wizz Tours third-party H2H API with fare details for Wizz Airlines in Europe.
• Coordinated modification of the Amadeus client & Galileo API; addressed and resolved bugs, Modified WSDL and implemented new modifications to key modules to improve booking, ticketing, changes, and ETA management.
• Optimized overall software reliability and functionality through unit testing, functional testing, load testing, multi thread, session handling, and application performance tweaking.
