Worked as Lead Principal Software Engineer on the Product Team as Ellipsis Health.
Ellipsis Health's primary technology provides depression and anxiety score using human speech, and our Team's job was to create products that integrated our tech into solutions that can be used by Healthcare Providers.
During my time in the role, I worked on various projects and initiatives. I spearheaded two standout projects/applications. The first being a Video Conferencing App to handle a "Live Call" setting, where we were providing ML predictions in real time and the second being a Customer Facing Dashboard to handle "Post Call" setting where we would run our models after a conversation between a Patient and Practitioner had occurred.
The Video Conferencing App
While working on the product team, we envisioned how our technology could be used in a Live conversation setting. Thus I developed complete end-to-end video calling experience that demonstrated Ellipsis Health's speech analysis technology being used in a Live/Real-Time environment. The web-based app used WebRTC with a SFU middleman that supported group calling of over 1000+ participants, while being fully HIPAA compliant.
The Customer Facing Dashboard
While working on the product team, we envisioned a unified customer Dashboard to show the results of our machine learning driven anxiety and depression detection models as well as additional analytics in a "post-call" setting. Being the only engineer on the product team, I guided the entire product team on the new developments that needed to occur across the Engineering and ML Teams for a complete end-to-end Dashboard experience.
The Dashboard experience was built from scratch using modern web technologies and framework, including but not limited to; Remix (Web Framework / API), Prisma (ORM), Postgres through AlloyDB (DB), Pulumi (IaC), and various GCP products (Cloud Run / Cloud Load Balancing / VPC Networking / Cloud Build / AlloyDB)
