● Spearheaded the scale testing effort for Platform9 Managed Openstack which revealed bottlenecks in homegrown and 3rd party services, also baselined the performance and latency with load.
● Developed an extensible framework to backup Kubernetes’ datastore Etcd to a local filesystem.
● Containerization of Openstack Heat orchestration service to run in a clustered environment to enable horizontal scaling.
● Designed and Implemented a scheduling service which provisioned Instances by intelligently building a global view of resource usage
from different host aggregates along with various filtering capabilities which lead to a datacenter utilization of upto 90%.
● Developed host based utilization meters for Openstack Ceilometer which collected stats from various hypervisors connected to
Platform9.
● Contributed code to Open-source Cloud computing platform Openstack used for private cloud deployments.
